BA (Hons) and now PG Cert

Here I am, in the Great Hall, preparing to graduate in my Post Graduate Certificate hood which was a surprising combination of maroon, white and lime green.

Five of the seven in our class who chose to come to graduation - Me, Claire, Anita, Alison and Harminder. Unfortunately Barbara, Margaret and Kath weren't able to come for various reasons.

My Mum and Dad came to watch and, although my Mum didn't cry this time, I still think they were proud.

My boss Vanessa, who helped me through the whole course and project by suggesting the topic in the first place and being a great role model.

My course mentor Simon who was always there to reassure me when things started to go wrong in my project!

Anyway, enough of this self congratulation and oscar style thankyous, I've got my certificate, had the photos taken and returned the gown, so back to work tomorrow. However if you haven't seen enough, then you can check out the webcast (Ceremony 14) at www.leeds.ac.uk/webcast. We don't graduate until 38mins and 25 seconds in. There, saved you nearly 40 minutes of tedium :)

Lucky git! This post-grad study is a tedious affair isn't it?
I just submitted some nonesense about break-even analysis about an hour ago and am now looking forward to getting more than 3 hours kip tonight! Tomorrow I'd better recover the kitchen from its present 'make-shift library' and 'empty beer-can storage' roles.

PS: Think you should have put your hood up and terrorised some jumpy OAP's, true hoodie style! - see you've already nicked a hand-bag in one of your pics!
